Ack! I haven't posted since Jan., so this will be a long post!
2/2--After school fun at the dino museum
2/3--100th day of kindergarten!! Their teacher had several fun activities for them to do and I got to go and help out.
2/9--It's over 60 degrees today so the girls and I enjoyed the outside part of the Curiosity Museum and now we're playing inside. It felt great to be outside!!
2/14--Valentine's Day!
To start off the day, I got up early (a true show of love!) to make heart shaped cinnamon rolls, along with a banana and pink milk, before school.
They had a class party at school. As room mom, here's what I planned for the party:
*Snacks: You're Awesome Sauce apple sauce pouch, You're All That & a Bag of CHIPS, I'm a SUCKER for you, Valentine juice box, and a bag of candy.
*Activities: Cupid's Arrow Toss, Valentine bookmarks craft, Candy Hearts Relay, Don't Eat Pete, and Musical Hearts, and they each put the Valentines they brought in the other students' valentine bag that they decorated in class that morning (they were so cute).
Putting their valentine's in the other students' valentine bags:

All the valentine bags they decorated in class that morning:
Avery won her group's Candy Hearts Relay:
Don't Eat Pete!:
After eating their snacks before going home, the teacher gave the twins the gift (a Valentine owl) from me and Jared that I purchased on teacher conference night and the PTA delivered to the classroom:
They came home from school with so many valentines and stuff from their class party! Plus, they got plush owls and a box of chocolates from me and Jared. Sugar overload!
Class valentines:
Plush owl and box of chocolates from Mommy and Daddy:
One of the valentines was slime:
That night: Avery lost her third bottom tooth tonight. She was scared she was gonna swallow it, so she asked me to pull it with floss. Even though she asked me to do it, I still had to do a lot of coaxing and she was crying for Makenna to hold her hand; Makenna was having a hard time staying by her side because she was scared she was gonna puke, ha ha. She was right there, comforting her, when it came out, though. I didn't even have to pull it, it came out as I was trying to get the floss around it. Now the tooth fairy needs to remember to come! :D And I need to talk Makenna into letting me get her top teeth out; she's gonna end up swallowing them any day now!
2/16--Family dinner out at Culver's, yum!
2/20--Hair full of leaves after playing on the trampoline.
2/21--The girls set up a restaurant in their playroom. Pretty funny if you look closely. :)

At Grandpa Ted's:
They loved playing with this marble run:
Makenna liked playing with the Lincoln Logs:
The girls gave Grandpa Ted birthday cards they made--he'll be 90 in March!
At Grandpa Lingmann's:
The twins also gave Grandpa Lingmann birthday cards they made and we had cupcakes with family :
2/19--They got these suckers (like Ring Pops but with lips) from their substitute Primary teachers today:
2/21--She lost another tooth (while eating an Oreo) tonight, ha ha. That's two in a week. The tooth fairy just visited. I'm thankful for heavy sleepers.
2/23--Jared took the girls to the dinosaur museum:
2/25--The twins had a great time staying past their bedtime at their bff's house playing and having dinner while I got to watch the LSU baseball game in peace. Then, I let them stay up even longer when they got home. It took them about a minute to fall asleep once they got in bed. I told them they can't wake me up too early in the morning if I let them stay up late. Yeah, we'll see how that goes...
2/27--On the way home from church, Avery asked what we were gonna have for lunch and I teased her that we were fasting for the rest of the day. She asked me what fasting is (sometimes I wonder if she ever pays attention to anything) and I told her it's when we don't eat a couple of meals and we pray for something. She then asked, "What do you pray about, being hungry??"
Bahaha! I was cracking UP!
2/28--Their cousin, Kelly, sent these really cute plush puppies to them via Grandma. They love them!
That night, we had a Mardi Gras dinner at Kiki's. I brought shrimp and corn soup and she made homemade French bread and king cakes (one apple filled and one pecan praline cream cheese). It was all so good!! Makenna got the baby. :D
