1st Half of October 2017

10/1--While I was gone all weekend with my BFF's, Jared and the girls had fun together doing things like playing Mario Kart while eating Crunch 'n Munch and building forts and watching conference.

10/2--We used a lizard, a walking stick, a wolf spider, and 2 scorpions (along with a black light, which makes them glow) that Jared brought home from AZ last week to do a show and tell in the twins' class today.

10/5--Avery lost her 5th tooth, her first one on the top. Just like Makenna, she asked me to pull it out, then she freaked out for a bit, then she didn't even feel it come out.

10/6--The twins and I had some fun at Wal-Mart tonight. 😅

10/7--They had fun at a friend's princess birthday party this morning. 👸❤👸

10/10--Avery lost her second upper front tooth while I was away playing Bunco tonight. Jared said they had an apple with dinner and it was loose enough that he was worried she would swallow it, so he pulled it (barely had to pull it). Cute little snaggle smile. :)

10/11--1st grade basketball summed up in 6 seconds. 😂 Makenna had her first game of the season tonight. It was slightly better than last year but not much, ha ha!

10/13--I took the girls to Family Fright Night at the library tonight. We walked around the (mostly) dark library and read local ghost stories and several Halloween themed kids books (which were printed poster size and posted along the walls and book aisles), blindly felt creepy things (like skeleton fingers, brains, boogers, ears, eyeballs, etc.--Makenna refused to feel anything), and had donuts and apple juice. Fun, free activity. 

10/14--Had to take a picture of my beauties with the beautiful mountains today.

That afternoon:
Trying to watch my Tigers and the Astros at the same time. Both close games, my stomach is in knots!

That was intense! GEAUX TIGERS!! (We beat #10 Auburn by 2 points!)

Check out these cheering signs that Makenna made for me for the game. I like how on the "Yes!" one she put "Touchdown! and Offense! and Defense!" She made these without me even knowing she was. 😀😀😀

That night: Whiskers was actually sleeping like that earlier. And now he's sleeping with his brother. Aaaw!

10/15--Had these cuties over for dinner tonight. Jason also helped Jared move an organ to our house that was given to us and the girls got to play Mario Kart with Jason and Mikan. Thanks for the great night, y'all!

Halloween activities start this week! And the girls have their fall break Thurs.-Mon. WOOHOOOOO! 😀
